“The moment to decide”

Verse from Hymn by James Russell Lowell, published in the Boston Courier, December 11, 1845:
Once to every man and nation, comes the moment to decide,
In the strife of truth with falsehood, for the good or evil side;
Some great cause, some great decision, offering each the bloom or blight,
And the choice goes by forever, ’twixt that darkness and that light.
Then to side with truth is noble,….
It is the belief of those who present this blog that the above now applies to the current situation of a proposed non vote on the Health Care Bill in the U.S. Congress using manipulation of rules rather than representatives individually voting. The truth in this case is that the people of the United States are not socialists while those who are socialist representatives in the U.S. Congress and Senate would prefer otherwise.
Later in this hymn a line states the position on truth in another way :
They must upward still and onward, who would keep abreast of truth.
Where is the outcry in the U.S. Congress against those representatives within the Congress of the United States who propose various methods to replace voting yea or nay on the actual bill itself?
Some commentators have wondered what is going on in the U.S. Congress right now. The answer is within the philosophies and rules of socialism. The rules include the creation of chaos and persuading all that only the socialist leaders can help everyone else so that nationalizing as many industries as possible is necessary. The end game is to take away all rules that grant individual freedom and give control of everything to the government. A most important freedom is to have one’s own person under one’s own control. Socialized medicine gives that control to the government. This includes government power and control of others which is the result of socialist government systems.
The rush to pass the Health Care bill is to have the bill passed before midterm elections to avoid mid-term elections yielding representatives who would vote against bills set up by socialists.
Socialists involved in the U.S. legislature now were legally elected, have legally assumed various offices and positions, and now legally may do what ever they so desire with the powers given to the various offices they hold.
There is nothing wrong with the U.S. government system. To suggest that is a ruse. Such a statement is made as the basis of the follow up suggesting that only the socialists can then rescue the government system of the U.S. by changing it to a socialist system instead that of a representative republic.
While one is still free one must choose to keep fighting for freedom as expressed in the U.S. Constitution and to keep fighting for it, staying vigilant and sacrificing personal time and effort to do so.
May those who follow and support the U.S. Constitution prevail.
Here’s an online petition: “Vote No On Universal Health Care Legislation Now”.
It’s not over until it’s over. Never give up. Put your personal time and energy where it matters. Here’s a list of Congressmen in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
So call them. Call ALL of them on the target list below.
Call their district offices first, then call their Capitol Hill offices.
Be polite, but be firm. Ask them to please vote to kill the bill.
Here’s a general petition to Congress.
November is coming … If you vote YES on the health care bill, I will vote NO on you in the next election.
How the Proposed Government Health Care System Will Work This illustrates how the socialist medical system works based upon the histories of the countries that use socialist systems of health care.
