Fire the 219

with 3 comments

A new website has come online: Fire the 219.

Fire the 219 is dedicated to removing from power all 219 members of Congress who voted to destroy the finest Health Care system in the world on March 21, 2010.

We will begin by launching recall petitions against all 219 immediately. New Jersey and 16 other states currently allow for such recalls.

Fire the 219 is a project of the Nationwide Tea Party Coalition, Tea Party Nation, and a growing number of other tea party groups. It is organized as a stand alone non-profit corporation.

    • I agree, sign me up to!

It should be called the Healthcare plan and the hypocrisy oath.
In order to control the Healthcare plan costs, health care will have to be rationed (the elderly who have few productive years left and special needs children who can’t live fully productive lives will be the main targets of the rationing). The Federal bureaucracies needed to implement and run such a massive plan will be a huge drain on the funds being put into the system by the taxpayers under the guise of insurance premiums. Few dollars will actually go to the patients for their care.
